Instead of charging hefty commission fees, we offer simple subscriptions – that way you can keep a greater proportion of the money you earn and tutorlink can still pay to advertise and run the site! Without a subscription you will still be able to create a profile but you will not be able to read messages sent to you by potential clients. If you want to increase your potential market by teaching under 18s and vulnerable adults, then you'll need an Enhanced CRB check. If you already have one, issued within the last 3 months, then send it to us using our contact details. If you don't already have one then you can apply for one once logged into your account, using the online form. Your contact details will go whizzing off to our CRB checking body. You should receive a form in the post within a matter of days from them. Follow the enclosed instructions and post the form together with the relevent documents to the CRB company. Once you have completed step 2, your account is automatically activated, regardless of your CRB status. If you have requested an Enhanced CRB check then we should receive the results from the CRB check within 4-8 weeks. If you gain a good report, your profile will be made visible to those searching the site on behalf of vulnerable adults and those under the age of 18. If your report is unsatisfactory, then you will only be able to instruct those over the age of 18 and who are not vulnerable adults. Tutorlink reserves the right to remove anyone who appears significantly unsuitable based on the results of an Enhanced CRB check.
